Lower liner property stocks up, active

KUALA LUMPUR: Lower liner property stocks including Guocoland rose in late afternoon trade on Monday, Jan 17, on rotational play, taking the cue from the large capitalised counters like SP Setia and IJM Land recently.

At 3.58pm, Guocoland was up 13 sen to RM1.60 with 6.55 milion shares done. Tebrau Teguh added six sen to 96 sen and Malton 5.5 sen to 81 sen.

The FBM KLCI was up 2.72 points to 1,572.61. Turnover was 1.49 billion shares valued at RM1.62 billion.'' Decliners led advancers 428 to 375 while 292 stocks were unchanged.

Guocoland had proposed a RM1.9b project to develop Damansara City 3 under the Economic Transformation Programme.
