KUALA LUMPUR: Glove maker HARTALEGA HOLDINGS BHD [] said it had never been ordered to close, suspended, nor issued serious warnings of any kind.
Its executive director Kuan Mun Leong said on Wednesday, Dec 8 they were assured by Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim during a meeting on Dec 2 that 'we are operating legally and are in full compliance of all state regulations'.
'Reports by Jabatan Alam Sekitar (Department of Enviroment) show we did not violate any environmental regulations. Tan Sri Khalid is the assemblyman of the constituency where the plant is located,' said Kuan.
