KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of LEONG HUP HOLDINGS BHD [] and EMIVEST BHD [] were voluntarily suspended from trading at midday on Tuesday, Nov 16. Both companies have common shareholders.
According to Bursa Malaysia circulars, trading in both companies was suspended at 12.28pm pending a corporate announcement.
Lau Bong Wong is chairman of Leong Hup and also chairman and managing director of Emivest.
Mega Perfect Malaysia Sdn Bhd is the single largest shareholder of Emivest with 33.07% stake or 39.68 million shares.
Leong Hup Management Sdn Bhd holds 47.47% or 79.14 million shares of Leong Hup.
