Seoul shares fall 1% after weak U.S. data

SEOUL: Seoul shares fell on Monday, July 19 after dismal U.S. consumer sentiment data deepened concerns that South Korea's exports to its third biggest trading partner may slow.

Key exporters such as LG Display retreated.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) was down 1.13% at 1,718.86 as of 0002 GMT. - Reuters
