KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (KWAP) has emerged as a substantial shareholder of MAH SING GROUP BHD [] with a 5.04% stake or 41.95 million shares.
A filing with Bursa Malaysia showed the acquisition of 1.10 million shares of the property company on Sept 7 saw its shareholding crossing the 5% threshold.
The shares were purchased in the open market by KWAP's fund manager.
Meanwhile, a separate filing showed that Koperasi Permodalan FELDA Malaysia Bhd disposed of 2.36 million shares from Sept 7 to 9.
The recent disposals reduced its stake to 7.31% or 60.83 million shares.
