KUALA LUMPUR: ''Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said that ten initiatives under the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) had produced RM1.43 billion investments, RM8.4 billion in gross national income (GNI) and 9,965 in incremental jobs.
At the ETP update on Thursday, Sept 8, the prime minister also said 84% of the initiatives announced under the Economic Transformation Programme were being implemented.
On a collective basis, the ETP recorded RM171.21 billion investments, RM228.55 billion in GNI and 372,361 new jobs.
Najib also announced eight new initiatives and recapped two initiatives.
He also said that within the electronic and electrical NKEA, the QAV Technologies Sdn Bhd's light emitting diode solid state lighting certification centre would be operational before year end.
