KUALA LUMPUR: BINA DARULAMAN BHD [] (BDB) has been awarded a job to build a 'royal villa' for an estimated RM1 million at Gunung Jerai in Kedah.
In said on Wednesday, Aug 17 that its wholly owned unit Kedah Sato Sdn Bhd had received an interim letter of award from Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Kedah (PKNK) on Aug 14.
The company said estimated contract sum of RM1 million was subject to finalisation upon issuance of final letter of award.
It said the contract period was eight months commencing Aug 10, 2011 to April 10, 2012.
PKNK the controlling shareholder of BDB with a holding of 54.49% of the total issued and paid up capital and the ultimate holding corporation of Kedah Sato.
BDB said the project was expected to contribute positively to its earnings for the financial year 2012.
