SP Setia, PetChem CWs up in active trade

KUALA LUMPUR: The call warrants issued over SP SETIA BHD [] and Petronas Chemicals Group Bhd rose in active trade when they were listed on Wednesday, Jan 5.

At 9.01am, SP Setia-CC was up 4.5 sen to 19.5 sen with 1.3 million units done. Petronas Chemicals-CB added three sen to 18 sen with 731,600 units transacted.

The FBM KLCI inched up 0.03 of a point to 1,551.92. Turnover was 32.83 million shares done valued at RM21.51 million. There were 135 gainers, 33 losers and 109 stocks unchanged.

AmBank (M) Bhd issued eight new cash-settled call warrants on the shares of SP Setia, IJM CORPORATION BHD [], Petronas Chemicals, GENTING BHD [], DRB-HICOM BHD [], CIMB Group Holdings Bhd, AIRASIA BHD [] and POS MALAYSIA BHD [].

It said the tenure was about 11 months and issue size of up to 100 million each.
