Perak Equity, Taipan Merit propose to remove Harun Halim, Onn Hamzah as Integrax directors

KUALA LUMPUR: Perak Equity Sdn Bhd and Taipan Merit Sdn Bhd have proposed to remove Harun Halim Rasip and Datuk Onn Hamzah as directors of INTEGRAX BHD [].

Integrtax said on Tuesday, Jan 25 it has received a special notice from Perak Equity and Taipan Merit, which hold 24.94 million shares and 20 million shares respectively about their intention to propose the resolutions to remove Harun and Onn.

"On external legal advice, the company was advised that such notice is neither a requisition for nor a notice of EGM and no EGM has been convened and so only evinces the intention of Perak Equity and Taipan Merit to propose resolutions for the removal of Harun and Onn as directors of Integrax," it said.

Integrax said it had circulated the special notice to both directors and would proceed to circulate it to the shareholders.

"The company has, also on external legal advice, issued a letter on 25 January 2011 to the solicitors of Perak Equity and Taipan Merit seeking urgent clarification on how they intend to proceed," it said.
