KUALA LUMPUR: Prudential BSN Takaful Bhd (PruBSN) had on Monday, Sept 13 launched three insurance plans -- PruBSN Protect, PruBSN ProtectPlus and PruBSN CrisisCover.
The PruBSN Protect is a term takaful plan that provides protection term to the insurer until 70 years old.
PruBSN ProtectPlus is an enhanced version of PruBSN Protect whereby the sum covered increases by 5% every three certificate-years. This will help participants hedge against inflation.
PruBSN CrisisCover provides protection against 36 critical illnesses with the option to offer the covered person's beneficiaries with a monthly income of up to 120 months in the event of the death of the insured.
PruBSN chief executive officer Azim Mithani said these plans were to allow customers make the financial provision for the unexpected.
"After receiving feedback from our customers, we found that there is a strong need for an updated and enhanced form of protection. These plans were designed to meet these needs and reiterate our core strategy of being customer-centric, in terms of products as well as service and overall customer experience," he said.
