SEREMBAN: The National Water Services Commission and Water Asset Management Company (WAMCO) have approved an allocation of RM345.2 million to Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan Bhd (SAINS) this year and next year to enhance water supply infrastructure.
SAINS communications and corporate affairs manager Azlan Abdul Aziz said on Monday, Sept 13 the projects include the setting up of new water treatment plants, increasing the capacity of existing plants and to replace old pipes.
The project would be carried out by Sains and WAMCO, he told Bernama, adding that the new facilities would drastically reduce water supply disruptions in the state. - Bernama
