KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI extended its gains on Tuesday, Aug 3 and was up 4.92 points to 1,368.52 at 9.05am, lifted by gains including at Public Bank, Axiata, KLK and AMMB.
Gainers thumped losers by 177 to 23 while 68 counters traded unchanged. Volume was 50.98 million shares valued at RM35.53 million.
Among the early gainers, KFCH was up 20 sen to RM11, Unisem's warrants rose 16 sen to 48.5 sen, Public Bank added 14 sen to RM12.04, Axiata 13 sen to RM4.37 and KLK was up 12 sen to RM17.
Kulim and AMMB gained 11 sen each to RM8.03 and RM5.20, PPB rose 10 sen to RM17.40 and Unisem up nine sen to RM2.33.
Meanwhile, SCC Holdings made an impressive debut on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia and was up 8.5 sen to 86.5 sen with 2.11 million shares done at 9.05am.
