kUALA LUMPUR: MALAYSIAN AIRLINE SYSTEM BHD [] (MAS) is investing RM320 million in a company-wide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution to streamline its operations and drive business efficiencies with system integrator HCL Axon and SAP as partners.
The global project that started March this year will run in two phases until 2012. The first phase involves replacing legacy systems and integrating its finance, procurement and human resource divisions that will finish by the second quarter of 2011.
MAS said on Monday, July 12 the second phase involves replacing its stand-alone legacy systems with SAP and SAP based solutions in its engineering and maintenance (E&M) operations in Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang Jaya
