KUALA LUMPUR: The securities of Kumpulan Jetson fell on Wednesday, July 14 after the company announced that an independent director Mohd Najib Abdul Aziz had retracted his resignation.
At 2.42pm, Jetson-LA was down 32 sen to RM1.11 with 1,000 units done while the shares fell eight sen to RM1.25.
The company said on Wednesday Mohd Najib had retracted his July 7 resignation as an independent non-executive director. He had resigned as the chairman of the audit committee.
"The company also wishes to announce that a board of directors' meeting had earlier been scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 15 to discuss various matters and this board meeting will also now discuss the implications of Mohd Najib's resignation and retraction," it said.
Jetson said where required, a further announcement on this matter will be made after the board meeting.
