Nestle declines on removal from FBM KLCI 30

KUALA LUMPUR: NESTLE (M) BHD [] share price fell in early trade Monday, June 21 after it was replaced by MALAYSIAN AIRLINE SYSTEM BHD [] on the FBM KLCI 30-stock index effective Monday.

At 9.20am, Nestle fell 22 sen to RM34.28 with 3,000 shares traded.

Meanwhile, MAS gained two sen to RM2.15 with 223,100 shares done.

The FTSE Bursa Malaysia Advisory Committee had decided in its semi-annual review that MAS would replace Nestle as a constituent member of the FBM KLCI. MAS will have an investability weight of 30%.
