KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI jumped 13.33 points to 1,331.02 at 9.10am on Monday, June 21, lifted by gains at key blue chips including CIMB, Maybank. Sime and DiGi.
Gainers led losers 151 to 35, while 68 counters traded unchanged. Volume was 32.08 million shares valued at RM48.91 million.
Hong Leong Financial Group was the top gainer in early trade and rose 50 sen to RM8.88, while DiGi added 28 sen to RM23.40, Hong Leong Bank up 18 sen to RM8.70, and Tanjong 16 sen to RM17.92.
Sime and CIMB added 15 sen each to RM8.13 and RM7.10, KFCH and Maybank 12 sen each to RM8.72 and RM7.64, while Keck Seng added 11 sen to RM5.26.
The early decliners included Nestle, Tenaga, Lafarge Malayan Cement and Wah Seong Corp.
