KUALA LUMPUR: TANJUNG OFFSHORE BHD [] has secured a contract worth US$1.75 million (RM5.27 million) from MISC BHD [] to supply two units of waste heat recovery units (WHRU) for PM304 Cendor Field Phase 2 Development.
It said on Monday, Aug 8 that its unit Tanjung Offshore Services Sdn Bhd (TOS) had obtained approval to announce the award of contract.
It said the contract involved the engineering, procurement, CONSTRUCTION [], delivery and commissioning of two units of WHRUs for a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) for PM304 Cendor Field Phase 2 Development for Petrofac (Malaysia) PM304 Limited.
It said TOS was expected to deliver the WHRU package by July 2012.
The company said the long term contracts were expected to contribute positively to its earnings for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2011.
