KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit strengthened against the US dollar in morning trade on Monday, June 21, rising to 3.1895 versus 3.2510 last Friday.
At 11.35am, the local unit was at 3.1895, which was also the highest since April 26 at 3.1720.
The FBM KLCI has surged 14.24 points to to 1,331.93 on foreign buying of stocks on expectations of gains in currency and price appreciation of stocks.
