KUALA LUMPUr: Primus Pacific Partners has filed legal action at the High Court of Malaya against a number of respondents, including certain members of the board of directors as well as certain shareholders of EON CAPITAL BHD [].
"The events that have transpired since EON Capital Bhd received the first unsolicited offer from HONG LEONG BANK BHD [] (HLB) in January 2010 to acquire the assets and liabilities of EON Capital have forced Primus to make a reluctant and difficult decision to file a legal action in order to safeguard the interests of the company, the management team, employees, and all of EON Capital's shareholders," Primus said on Monday, June 21.
