KUALA LUMPUR: Property stocks bucked the weaker overall market on Wednesday, Nov 24, underpinned by fresh news of mergers, especially MRCB and IJM Land.
The FBM KLCI fell 9.0 points to 1,478.53 at 9.10am. Turnover was 73.31 million shares valued at RM92 million. Declining counters beat advancers 277 to 67.
Ho Hup rose 13 sen to 75 sen with 10,000 shares done, BDRB added eight sen to RM2.40, YTL Lan d seven sen to RM1.33, IJM Land-CB six sen to 38 sen while Selangor Dredging rose six sen to 79.5 sen and SP Setia four sen to RM5.19.
